Seasonal Post #6- Soft Summer
The Soft Summer color season is one of my favorites, because well, I'm a soft summer! :D
It's even more fun when I can apply what I've learned to myself!LET'S JUMP RIGHT IN WITH HAIR
Summer's hair tones are always ashy. (cool)
gray/ash blonde, or cool brown.
Typically not golden at all
See the difference between these warm and cool tones of brown?
Now for the eyes
Light or grayish green, or soft grayish blue. Harmonizing perfectly with hair and skin tones.
Here are some examples.
MOVING ON TO SKIN TONES
It can sometimes be difficult to differentiate between cool and warm skin tones. An easy way to tell is to look at the underside of your wrist.
The specific tone of skin for a soft summer is a light to medium dark tone.. Beige, ivory, may have freckles, and tends to blush easily.
Here's an example of a fair-skinned soft summer.
Here is a dark skinned soft summer.

Some extra fashion tips
Wear soft white or icy gray instead of bright white. Avoid black and dark colors. Try to only wear black far from your face.
Avoid bright and very dark, warm colors. Additional colors can be the cooler pastels in the Soft Autumn palette.
Last, but not least...Jewelry!
The best jewelry choices are silver, white gold, and soft metals.
I have really enjoyed diving into Soft Summer!
